Eugene Shatsman is well known for creative and engaging strategies for his plethora of clients. His success started in the world of residential real estate when he was going to college. While attending University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Eugene developed a business plan for residential real estate. His model combined superb client management with a very unique sales process which he figured would give him a leg up on the much larger landlords in the area. It worked!
After careful tweaking and preparation, Eugene Shatsman acquired his first residential property as an 18 year old college student. Between classes and work, Eugene was able to make the property profitable within 90 days – and, more impressively – his residential company quickly gained a waiting list of tenants (a practically unheard-of circumstance in the Ann Arbor market). After a few years of proven success, Eugene taught other investors his methods and his company managed and consulted numerous other real estate transactions. In addition, Eugene’s properties housed many aspiring entrepreneurs, which is when his sales and marketing consulting practice was born.
Eugene Shatsman’s study at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor centered on consumer behavior. His studies focused on Psychology, Economics and Business – in an effort to gain a deeper understanding of how consumers make buying decisions. He gained a keen understanding of the subtle market forces, and psychological and emotional phenomena that drive people to shun some products while gravitating to others. These insights have allowed Eugene to play a critical role in crafting National Strategic’s unique and proprietary system known as Evolve to Grow.
At National Strategic, Eugene Shatsman oversees client management and the services division.
